Most relevant song of the year: “You Might Not Like Her” by Maddie Zahm

Honorable mentions: “Numb Little Bug” by Em Beihold (winter to spring), “Dead Astronaut” by Ryan Oakes (spring to summer)

Artist of the year: Fletcher

Honorable mention: Mayday Parade

Favorite “new” artist of the year: The Wailin’ Jennys

Genre of the year: Pop punk

Secondary genre of the year: Americana/folk

Honorable mentions: Set It Off at the Sum 41 and Simple Plan concert (I won tickets at an emo night!), P-square (barely anyone attended since it wasn’t widely advertised, so my friend and I got up close!)

Radio show of the year: The Greg Beharrell Show

Most significant playlist of the year: Healing, including “Love Your God” by Alex G and The Wailin’ Jennys’ version of “Wildflowers
